Hack 1: A/B Testing: The Essentials
What are some of the things you should keep in mind when doing A/B testing? Here are the first five.
Select the Right Tools:
Google Analytics, Optimizely, VWO, Qubit, Adobe Target, and Convert.com.
Test Size and Validity:
Determine an appropriate sample size using calculators. Aim for at least 350 conversions per variation.
Test Duration:
Run tests for complete business cycles, accounting for weekdays, weekends, and traffic sources.
Run tests for at least 2-4 weeks.
Statistical Significance:
Achieving 95% statistical significance is crucial, but it's not the sole stopping rule.
Mobile and Desktop Segmentation:
Test separately for mobile and desktop audiences due to differing behaviors and traffic volumes.
Hack 2: SEO: Better Chances of Ranking
One of our favorite tools is Ahrefs Webmaster Tools.
You can gain insights into the keywords your pages rank for, how Google perceives your content, with actionable suggestions to boost your traffic.
Do you want to have better chances of ranking? Here’s what you should consider.
Search intent
Question: Do some of the top-ranking pages fault to closely match search intent?
Metrics
Backlinks (the number of websites linking to a page)
Question: Can I get more quality backlinks than other pages?
Website authority (the overall strength of a website’s backlink profile)
Question: Is my website in a similar domain rating range or higher than the top-ranking websites?
Tip: Use “Site Explorer” in Ahrefs to check your DR (domain rating).
Topical authority
Question: Is my website equally or more topically authoritative than the top-ranking websites?
The more “YES” answers you get for the questions above, the better your chances of ranking.

Hack 3: Referrals
Did you know that many customers are actually willing to give referrals but never follow through? Let's bridge that gap!
Here's how:
The Channel
Which channel drives the most revenue for you? Use that one!
The Outreach
Write personalized outreach messages for your customers. Imagine talking to your friend.
The Process
Keep it simple - in just two clicks, your customers should be able to share their referral link.
The Landing Page
Check how customers interact with your referral landing page. Optimize messaging and highlight benefits.
Hack 4: Newsletter on WhatsApp
On Whatsapp?! Yes, and it’s such an easy process to set it up! Users can easily scan a QR code and join without the need to enter personal information or share an email address.
It also allows for shorter and more concise content, including embedded links, videos, and other multimedia elements. This makes it easier and less time-consuming to create newsletter content.
You can be very flexible in terms of frequency, structure, and format. This could provide a community-based experience by allowing integration into chat groups and creating private spaces for more engaged members.
Here’s a great guide if you want to set up your newsletter on WhatsApp.
Hack 5: Geolocation Personalization
Pause for a moment, think of a website you’ve landed on and felt an instant connection with. This feeling could be the result of geolocation personalization!
Geolocation personalization is all about leveraging the power of location data to create a tailored experience for your website visitors. It's like rolling out the red carpet and welcoming your visitors with open arms, right from the moment they land on your site.
Imagine this scenario: a user arrives on your website and sees content that speaks directly to their location. It could be as simple as mentioning their city or region, or as intricate as showcasing specific products or services available in their area.
This level of personalization creates an immediate connection, making users feel understood, valued, and more likely to engage with your website.
How to implement geolocation on your website?
Whilst we are big fans of zero-code solutions here, sadly this isn’t one. However the good news is a junior developer should be able to implement this in a few hours.
They’ll need to leverage languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with APIs provided by companies like Google or MaxMind. These APIs grant your website access to valuable location information.
Once you have this, tailoring content based on their location can drive a significant uplift in user engagement. Some examples could include:
Tag-lines “for the traders of [New York]”
Location-based crypto airdrops
Company events by City
Localized crypto trading competitions and rewards
Geotagged NFT art exhibitions and auctions
